Because im hosted with a not so good hosting company, well I used to think they were good but now completely changed my mind about them, i have decided to install a 3rd party website stats utility.

It is called StatPress and can be downloaded from here. It tells me everything i need to know, how many visitors, which operating systems, which browser and so on.

All you need to do, is download the file, upload into your webserver in the WordPress plugins folder and activate it as you would any other plugin.

You get a little tab in the admin page of WordPress and it basically does what it says on the tin, tells you all your website’s stats, from unique user visits, spider visits, referrals top search terms, countries, search engine they came from, page views and top IP address’s.

I have just installed this great plugin fotobook for WordPress, that links to your facebook account and imports your albums and photos from facebook. It is created by Aaron Harp who I think has created one of the best WordPress plugins available, for so long I have been looking for the perfect photo gallery, I’ve tried things such as gallery2 and other plugins but this by far has been the best for what I need it for. Linking two great things together to give you the ultimate maybe people don’t see it the same way as me, but I think this is amazing.

I did come across a few glitches in the new version 3, as I had never installed this before I went straight to version 3 and after I had authorised it to access my facebook account it was telling me i had no albums, but I knew I had at least five on facebook. So i install the previous version 2.1 and imported my albums, upgraded to 3 and all was well.
