Well…what can I say other than the last four days off for Easter have been amazing, me and my family have got so much done, been to quite a few different places and I even did abit of ironing, shocker! I couldn’t get the hang of it though and at one point nearly put the iron through the ironing board, although at least I didn’t burn the carpet like someone, I wont mention any names but Erica know’s who I mean =).

Friday we had to stay in and wait for the delivery of Ericas new dressing table, she was so excited as now she can do her makeup at her table rather than sitting on the toilet with a handheld mirror, she has gone with the same theme as the dressing table which is well…um im guessing you would call it at mirrored theme?

Throughout the day Erica was looking for various walks and places we could take the dogs on Saturday and she came across Ingleton Waterfalls Trail a fairly short walk of 4.5 miles, well I say short I haven’t had any exercise for the past 3+ years and when I say no exercise I mean NO exercise, sometimes its too much trouble for me to walk into the kitchen and make me something to eat, most times I just order a takeaway!!

We also did some cleaning on friday…I think, Hmm seems like ages ago now and finding it difficult to remember things in my old age of 23!

Saturday we got up bright and early, I think it was about 6:15 or something and started getting ready to go to Ingleton to do the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail walk. Just the usual arguments that morning, mostly about me taking lots of food and drink with me I think Ericas exact words were “Where only going on a four and half mile walk, why do you need to take all that? where do you think we are going?” something along them lines and then we my sudden need to eat every couple of hours she came out with “I think you have worms!” Nice…yes I do like my food and you can never be too careful! Me personally don’t think we took alot with us, I know here is a list.

1. Bottle of Diet Pepsi
2. Bottle of water
3. 2 Cream Eggs
4. x5 slices of brown bread with potted dog (potted beef for people who don’t know potted dog)
5. x4 packs of french fries (crisps)
6. 2 litres of blackcurrent squash in my camelback (which leaked in the car so didn’t actually take it! So it doesn’t count)

Me personally for a 4.5 mile walk that is just enough food to take! Well anyways, the walk was meant to take around 2.5 hours for the average walker and for non average walker (I would put me and Erica into that category) anything from 2.5 – 4 hours to complete, eventually when we arrived we set off with our two dogs Archie & Dylan, Archie being Archie thought he had to Shit & Piss as much as possible and me being me couldn’t find the bloody poop bags! Ah well never mind we were in the great outdoors and have to say we picked a fantastic day for it!

Getting to the point we completed the walk in 2Hrs 20mins and that was with three stops for food breaks, stops for taking photos and stopped at the top of the hill for the Ice Cream van, didn’t mention that in the food list because we didn’t actually take it!

We all got extremely dirty, and due to us not being walkers went in trainers and jeans! Doh won’t make that mistake again, here is a few photos!

We all had a great time and are now looking for more walks, doesn’t matter where they are within a decent driving distance, I think 150 miles away would be the furthest I would be willing to travel! The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail was just short of 100 miles away from our house, but that all adds to the fun!

Sunday was a bit of a touchy subject, I wound Erica off the clock with my cleaning skills (well my ability to try and do as little as possible) but after all that we hadn’t planned to do much due the the walk the day previous, we only had plans to go to my Mum and Dads for Sunday dinner as we do every sunday. We had to have an emergency appointment at the vets for Dylan, nearly a month ago he had a lump removed from his stomache which he has since birth (the results we had back came in and were all good, it wasnt cancerous) but he had it infected, so now he is on antibiotics to make it better again, at the moment his stomache looks like something out of Aliens. After Sunday dinner we decided we would have a trip down Birmingham way to see the in-laws who live in Dudley, I always love going down there and seeing them, plus I love driving and it is a nice drive, a steady 100 miles – well I say steady not with all the cocks on the road who interupt my cruise control! Got down there roughly around 8pm and had a few drinks before retiring to the inflatable bed – Myself, Erica, Archie & Dylan (yep thats right the dogs had also come on the trip) Can honestly say as well that the dogs got a better night sleep than me and Erica. We ended up with a little corner of the bed each with Dylan laid out on his back legs spread and everything in the middle, Archie was laid under my arm and Erica under the other…I’m pretty sure our dogs are more human than we think…they certainly know how to wrap us around there little finger and get the best things out of life, although me being as soft as I am let them get away with it.

Monday we got up extremely early again to let the dogs out, this was going to be a morning from hell, dogs outside all fine doing what they needed to do, Archie, Dylan & Spike. Spike is the In-Laws dog, pretty old and soft as a brush – All going well then all of a suddon Archie attacks Spike grabbing him around the kneck and not letting him go, I eventually pulled him off, and hit him a few times and pretty hard as there was no need for why he did what he did, throughout the day he was just standing up to him trying to give him a reason to attack again, everytime he was being punished for it. We then went down to Erica’s nan & Grandads had the most amazing Bacon & Egg sarni’s cooked in LARD! Mmm lovely with brown sauce and went back to her mum and dad’s. This is when we decided to go to a car boot sale think it was called “Col’s cart boot” or something…me being me saw a nice leather chair that I wanted to buy but wasn’t allowed…BOO! Would have gone great in the living room =) if Erica reads this post there will be a comment going on i’m sure. Erica got her self some heated hair curlers for £2, and I had a burger…well a cheese burger…please note this was around 1hr 15 mins after the bacon and egg sarni so it’s not true what people say…that I have to eat every couple of hours….Nah in all fairness when you go to places like that you need to have something from the salmanella vans don’t you? All part of the experience….

I bought the beast…I bought this for myself, it cost me £50 and brand new they should be £150, I will post more pictures later!

This isn’t really what I had expected to buy when I went to a place like this, neither is it something that I had thought about getting!
