Cocaine Running around my brain….
Well I took the plunge, after uming and arring about whether or not I should by some of the Drink “Cocaine” Slogan “The Legal Alternative” I decided to get me some, I got me a can of Cut and a can of Original. After reading some of the reviews of how it makes your throat numb and being a true caffine addict I decided I had to give this stuff a go.

So I have just finished the can of Cut Cocaine and man does it hit you hard! I feel like I have drank around 40 cups of coffee and 10 cans of red bull, this stuff really is amazing. I don’t think I should have had it though about 5 hours before bed!
I am building up the courage to drink the original drink (reviews say it makes your throat go numb) we will soon see! I think I am going to have it Saturday morning, watch this space for updates!
You can follow the creators of this drink on twitter @drinkcocaine
Thought my foot felt….”drafty”
Just been walking around in my socks (as you do) felt a little weird and then when I looked down this is what I saw!
Bloody socks….I really think I need to invest in some more!
In this economic climate I could think of much more to buy with my money rather than some socks…maybe I should go like mogly and go bare foot?
Sad Songs say so much
This is a strange question but I am going to ask it anyway, this may seem a little strange but when I am home alone I really like listening to depressing songs and sad songs, not because I am depressed, lonely or upset but just because I like them. My wife always tells me that I have a problem but I really don’t.
I just wondered what the most depressing songs are that you have listened to or like?
Maybe they have a meaning to why you like them? Maybe they were played at a loved ones funeral and will always be special to you in your own way.
I know one song I will never forget is Bing Crosby – Beautiful Dreamer. I had never heard this song before until my Grandads funeral and every now and again when I am home alone or feel the need, I play it. So here it is.
I have made a little list of some of the songs I have been listening to:
The Smiths – Asleep
The Ojays – Stairway to heaven
Ronan Keating & Cat Stevens – Father And Son
Loretta Lynn – Coal Miner’s Daughter
Billy Ocean – There’ll be sad songs
Aretha Franklin – I Say A Little Prayer For You
Foreigner – I Want To Know What Love Is
Pretenders, the – I’ll Stand By You
Bert Bacharach – What The World Needs Now
Eric Carmen – All by Myself
Dusty Springfield – I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself
Sufjan Stevens – John Wayne Gacy Jr
Damian Rice – The Blowers Daughter
Those are just a few of the songs I have been listening to this afternoon, they aren’t necessarily sad songs / love songs / depressing songs but those are the type of songs I am wanting to find out about. There must be plenty of people who have there favorites that they listen to when they feel in that zone.
I have even been listening to Adam Sandler – I Wanna Grow Old With You (The Wedding Singer)
Is this just me being me who does this or do some of you do it?
I would really like to know, and have a listen to some of the songs you like.
These could either be love songs / depressing songs / sad songs or just songs you like on the same lines
Bus Driver Rant
I thought its about time I posted something on here about the main thing that pisses me off during weekdays, BUS DRIVERS! They think they own the bloody roads and can do what they want, edging their ways out nearly hitting your car as you travel down the side of them.
For my job I have to travel to Huddersfield town centre, and the bus drivers there are right ignorant twats, why can they just not indicate and wait for someone to let them over? Why do they persist in pushing their way out nearly hitting cars and pissing other people off?
The stupidest thing is after they have pushed someone out of the way and forced their way into the moving traffic they pull over less than half a mile down the road! How many people get pissed off by this? Is it just me being impatient? Am I missing the point? Why should a bus get priority? Yeah they travel people around, but at the end of the day they are pissing people off at the same time, causing road rage.
Not only that they think they have the right to straddel over two lanes trying to push you out onto the other side of the road, I understand they have set times to pick people up but how many people do they have to piss off to get to there destinations on time! Grrr
Time to play them at their own games I think, if ever their is a bus behind me I will make sure I drive at 20mph and not let the fucker past, at the end of the day they do it to me? So time to fight back!
Im seriously thinking about getting a camera installed and recording the actions of bus drivers on the way home, then complaining to the bus companys, it’s wrong what they are doing and not only when I have to brake suddenly, the car behind me also has to. One day a bus will cause a major pile up and will most probably get away with it.
Is it / Isn’t it Swine Flu?
Cough Cough…Cough Cough…Cough Cough, those are the only sounds I have really been making over the past few weeks.
I started off with sneezing, coughing, high temperature and couldn’t keep off the toilet, I rang my GP as stated on the Swine Flu Pandemic Website and had to fill out a test with the receptionist. (It had to be done over the phone as with all this swine flu stuff going on, people with the symptoms are not allowed to visit the Dr’s Surgery. After explaining my symptoms the receptionist said that with the answers I had given she would get the Dr to give me a call after his clinic, Hoooray I finally passed an exam in my life, although would have been properly annoyed if she hadn’t got the Dr to call me.
The Dr called me and asked what my temperature was…”erm…I don’t know I don’t have a thermometer” was my response. After having a telling off from the Dr for not having one in the house with all the flu symptoms going around, he advised me to get one and call back as they couldn’t diagnose it as swine flu without my temperature being 38 degrees or above. I was also just having a glass of milk and as I took a mouthful from the glass he mentioned that I should stay away from a load of stuff and drink plenty of water and no milk…how the hell did he know what I was drinking?
I took my temperature after getting someone to get me a thermometer and it was sitting at 37.5 degrees, I rang my GP again who stated because it was below 38 they couldn’t confirm it was swine flu. I took a week off work to recover and returned to work the following week.
The week after I went into work and by 9:30am they had told me to go home as they didn’t want me to infect anyone else, great I thought symptoms are back, I am at work and they are telling me to go home. I gave the National Swine Flu hotline a call due to work telling me to, to double check again. I had all the symptoms of swine flu again and told them I had the identical symptoms only a week ago, but yet again with my temperature not being 38 and was at 37 they told me they couldn’t confirm it as swine flu, great I thought, more time off work, more flu medicines and another week of being coughing, sneezing and basically just feeling rubbish.
The symptoms are nearly going now, can’t go back into work due to well they don’t want me back until I lose my cough and sneezes which is understandable due to pregnant people being at work.
The whole help line is a sham, some of the question they need to ask you while on the phone is ridiculous, I will list a few…
- Are you having a fit at the moment?
Are you having trouble breathing?
Are you blacking out?
Am I having a fit at the moment? Yeah I’m having a fit and would just think “Oh I must ring the National Swine Flu Pandemic Hotline, I’m having a fit maybe its Swine Flu….Why does 999 come to mind?”
Anyways for how here is a video from @ijustine about swine flu
