This….animal…dog….beast or what ever you want to call it is my in laws next door neighbor, not personally him but his owners! Everytime you walk out of the back door you hear him bark and occasionally will run into the fence, apparently he has broken it many of times.

Do you think he is beautiful or ugly?

I keep finding myself looking for more, sharing things I do, saying what I want to say and basically expanding the bubble I find myself in most nights. You would think that someone who works on computers all day long would be sick and tired of them by the time he got home, but not with me, I always find new things that I want to do, talk about, find out and basically just waste hours and hours online looking for the next ”big thing“. I know deep down that the next big thing won’t be anything to do with me, but still, I always have to keep trying.

The above are just some of the sites that I have been on in the past and only three of them are still used, but I still leave my MySpace account active, why? I have no idea to be honest, maybe one day it may start back up? MySpace has already changed lots since I last logged in back in 2008 and I am curious to find out how its changed and if its something that I would be interested in using again, but for the time being I will pass and just continue using the sites that I am highly active on such as Facebook, Twitter and my Wordpress blogs.

There has been some more sites that I have just joined and I put this down to my iPhone, the phone is no longer and phone and is taking over my life, the ability of updating twitter, Facebook and even blogging from your phone in my eyes is a fantastic idea but can get highly addictive. (I for one am addicted) I go through phases with twitter and Facebook and find myself either using one or the other, at this moment in time I feel the need to update twitter more than anything else. If you follow me @rhodzy you will be able to see that for yourselves and just see how much I do tweet.

At the moment I have protected my tweets as I am getting a little wary about all the spammers that are following me and wondering to myself what information they are gathering about me, maybe a slack tweet from me could result in identity theft and I wouldn’t have a clue! Maybe even a drunken tweet that you forget you send, who knows it could be anything. Recently I have also been having a clear up on Facebook removing friends who I know longer speak to or people I have added / added me who we ”once knew each other, added each other, but never chatted“ I don’t see the point in that anymore and come to the conclusion that its quality not quantity.

Not sure why I have joined more sites, but I find myself looking for more and more and thinking when will it end? Soon it will be a full time job to keep up with all the sites / services that I am signed up to.

One day I will learn…..

funbrainworld is a website that offers flash games ranging from Action | Arcade | Puzzle | Retro | Shooting | Sports and loads more, its a great way to kill time and also have some fun on the way, If you are bored at the office or just require something to use up your spare time that check out funbrain.

The website is family friendly so is suitable for children, they also have over 1000 games online and aim to be the largest online game site on the internet.

Well the time came for another monthly training session with the team in preparation for our 3 peaks challenge which we are currently undertaking in May 2010. It started off very well and the weather was excellent, no rain, no snow, no wind (except from a few of the team members) it was a perfect day to climb a mountain and boy was it a mountain. Scafell Pike in the Lake District, is supposedly the most challenging mountain throughout the National 3 Peaks challenge.

The climb it’s self was very difficult and a quarter of the way up we started to get ice and snow which made it even more difficult. We battled our way up until we looked up, there is was, the steepest part of the time, full of thick snow and all we had was our boots…. People were attaching their crampons and walking poles out, we were going to attempt it without…everyone thought we were mad. After a good 40 minutes or so we were finally at the top (not of Scafell, but the gully) we then had a 10 minute break and had a coffee and just took in the amazing views that were around us, it was something so beautiful that now I am home it doesn’t seem real. We all said to each other that we couldn’t believe this was in the UK, it was simply stunning and made the whole journey worth while, we continued on for another 20 minutes before we got to the top :] we had made it and what a feeling it was!

I was walking around the usual route with my 2 Miniature Schnauzers (Archie & Dylan) and all was going well, I managed to complete the walk in less than 50 minutes and the route also includes some up and down hills to make it a little more difficult.

I got home and had a hot bath and then the morning after….OUCH! Boy did my ankle hurt, turns out I have injured my Achilles tendon or as I like to call it “Hercules tendon”

Today it seems to be a little better and hopefully I will be out walking again tomorrow evening when I get back in from the office.

Some day I will be as good at photography as this guy who I work with, his work is absolutely amazing! I now have a challenge to try and become as good as this and produce such amazing photos as this one!

Just been playing around with the dogs and managed to get this photo of my Miniature Schnauzer Archie, I think he looks a little bit evil!

What do you reckon?

It will only be a matter of time before I order one Direct and unlocked from Google !!!

We looked and looked and even looked at staying over in the Lake District in a dog friendly pub that would have allowed them to stay in the hotel with us. We decided against this and decided to travel 76 miles to Ingleton, here you can find the Ingleton Waterfall Trail which is an amazing pretty easy walk where you can see 5 waterfalls in total. You can get some amazing camera shots here and when out of season very relaxing and enjoyable walk.

We got there and the first problem had already started, I got my camera out which I had charged all night long to make sure the battery was fully charged and then when I came to turn it on DISASTER! The battery was dead and when I looked the power switch was set to on, when putting the camera in it’s bag I must have turned the camera on by accident. #fail I couldn’t believe it. I ended up taking photos on my iPhone again and the gallery can be found here:
