Update twitter & facebook together
Recently I have been updating facebook and twitter roughly at the same time, not been posting the same things but after a while I stopped and thought “I don’t really update my facebook account that much, why don’t I just find something that will update them both with the click of a button” Now it’s not exactly the same as updating each one seperate as your stuck the 140 charactor limit when updating them both together but this is enough for me “if u jus strt shortnin the words thn u wil b fine” << Looks a little shite though to be honest but it gets what you are trying to say across.
I know this can be done from the desktop machine in Tweetdeck, so I thought I would give Tweetdeck ago on the iPhone to see if that option was avaliable…but unfortunately it wasnt….back to the drawing board.
I finally came across an app called “Duo for iPhone” this allows you to type a message (140 charactors long) and allows you to post it to both facebook and twitter from the same screen. GREAT!
It does seem a little buggy and sometimes crashes but still a great little app and to say its free, makes it even better. Check out the App store and have a little look for it. Give it ago, perfect for any facebook and twitter users.
It does have some little draw backs but depends what you want from a client, it does not allow you to read tweets or status updates on facebooks, it simply allows you to update you status on both twitter and facebook.
Enjoy!

App Store vs Android Market – You Decide?
After being exposed to both these Application repositories I have my favourite and one I absolutely hate!
Good Points
App Store
- Nice clean interface
- Well organized
- Great explanations of what the App actually does
- Lots of great apps for everyone
- More Professional
Android Market
- The only Market for Android
As you can see from what I think are good points with these two repositories there is a clear winner.
Bad Points
App Store
- N/A
Android Market
- Spammers (comments)
- Racist comments
- Rubbish Apps (No point what so ever)
- Apps that always force close
- Not organized very well
- Not as fun as the App store
The things that pisses me off the most with the Android Market is the comments that are no filtered, users posting 1st just for the sake of it (get a life weirdos) and basically it needs shutting down and re-developing.
I used to enjoy looking through the App store so much but with the Android Market it is just an App on my phone that sits there just wanting love and attention.
I will soon be getting rid of my G1 and investing in the iPhone 3G. The iPhone by far is the best phone I have ever had!
WordPress app for iphone
Well I’m sat on a train and just installed the wordpress app from the app store on iPhone firmware 2.0. Not sure what it will turn out like but I’ll check layer on tonight! Who says train travel cannot be fun
oh and you can even add pictures!
iPhone PC Suite macOSX
I have been using the iPhone PC suite for windows for some time and really like it, i have now changed my main computer to a 24″ iMac, and cannot find the iPhone PC suite for mac. If anyone can find it out there (not even sure there is one) could you please get in touch and let me know!
It was a good tool to have, but for the time being i will try and connect it to my VMware XP machine running on my mac, not ideal but if it works GREAT! until there is a mac release of the software.
Connecting iMac to iPhone VIA bluetooth
For some time now I have been trying to get my iMac to connect to my iPhone via bluetooth, but recently found out this cannot be done as the bluetooth on the iPhone is not for DATA connections, basically just bluetooth headsets
GUTTED!

13.Navigate to /var/root/Media/ or /var/mobile/Media/ (1.1.3).Go to the Media folder and inside make a new folder called “ROMs” (with a lower case s)
14.Inside make another folder called “PSX”
15.Drop roms in the PSX folder
