The Worse Weather I have Ever Drove In

I just got back from Birmingham at around 9oclock, a journey which usually takes me around 1hr 45mins on a good day and that is battling my way through all the 50MPH zones on the M1.

The journey took me just over 3 hours!! The weather was horrendous, continuous rain, heavy rain, slow rain, fine rain, rain that you can’t see 1 meter in front of you TERRIBLE!

The motorways were completely drenched and covered in water, cars and wagons throwing water up into the air so it hits your windscreens, water been thrown from the other side of the motorway from the oncoming traffic.

I think I got above 50MPH for around 20 miles but then soon came back down because of the weather. At one point I was actually thinking it was getting too bad maybe I should pull over wait for it to stop, but it’s a good job I didn’t I would still be sat there now waiting for it to stop. Luckily I missed the high winds that started just after I got off the M1.

You got the same old knob head that you would on a dry day whizzing past you at around 90/100 MPH and I couldn’t help myself thinking that if you were to slide and crash and lost control you would be getting exactly what you deserve, especially in that weather where you couldn’t even see the car in front, nor could you even see through your windscreen because there was that much water about.

I had one prick shooting up my chuff then started flashing me when I wouldn’t move, this is the point I was up to 70MPH and I simply refused to move as I didn’t want to be stuck behind a lorry nor did I want him to get past, I was ranting a raving and in the end I simply moved over after around 1.5 miles where he pulled behind me and got off the motorway! Success! Least I managed to slow one person down and probably fuck him off in the process!

Travelling back down tomorrow, I hope it’s much better weather tomorrow and also hope it doesn’t take me as long either.
